Shelby Reid began racing in Class 1 in 2006. Starting at our local racing organization MORE she quickly started racking up race wins, a Class 1 Championship and the overall Championship. After racing BITD for many years and tackling the Baja 1000 for the first time Shelby decided to switch to primarily racing SCORE International events in 2014. She won the Class 1 Championship in 2015 and earned several podiums since.
Cody Reid began racing in 2008 in Class 9. Eager to follow in his parent’s footsteps. In 2009 he moved up to Class 12 and focused on MORE races and a few BITD. In 2011 he won the Class 12 Championship at SNORE as well as Rookie of the year. By 2012 he moved up to class 10. 2013 he won the BITD Class 10 Championship and following his mother moved over to primarily SCORE International events. Winning the Class 10 Championship at SCORE in 2014 and 2015.
2021 Shelby and Cody have finally teamed up together in Class 1 and brought home the win at San Felipe in a brand-new car. Placed 3rd at the Baja 400 and are currently sitting second in the Class 1 points standing coming into the Baja 1000.
